The sacrifice always pays it's debt.
You should be spiritual enough to experience the fruits of sacrifice because, the fruits of sacrifice are not directly proportional nor as as tasty as expected.
Sometimes those fruits delights you and other times it may discourage you. The taste of sacrificed fruit depends on many things and not the sacrifice alone.
Now if we talk about the time duration to get the fruit, it depends mostly on your dedication and most importantly what the divine thinks.
Divine calculator is not ordinary calculator. There 2+2 may or may not be equal to 4. Unfortunately, most of us don't realize it.
Longer it takes to get a fruit - better the lessons are and may not be the taste :-) if it takes short time, the fruit may spoil quickly but not necessarily if your dedication is uncompromised.
Good sacrifice - better the taste but not necessarily however mostly.
Dedication is the key.
